Cancellation Policy

Terms & Conditions Of Hotel Reservations


Did you know a Hotel Reservation is a Legally Binding Contract?


Did you know you can be Charged for your Holiday if you have to Cancel?


    We strongly advise taking out Holiday Cancellation Insurance


1. A booking will not be valid until it has been confirmed in writing by the hotel upon receipt of the requested deposit of £35.00 per person.


2. In the event of a late booking where times do not allow for written confirmation and a credit card number has been given to debit the deposit, this will be treated as a guaranteed reservation.


3. When a credit card has been used for a deposit and time does not allow for written confirmation, the card which has been used for the deposit must be presented to the hotel on arrival and a manual voucher signed.


4. Reservations cannot be guaranteed or paid for by using a third party credit card, unless the card holder will be present at the hotel with the card, where a manual voucher can be signed & the card authorised.


5. Cancellations must be made to the hotel in the first instance by telephone, and then in writing. The following cancellation fees will be levied :



  • All deposits are non-refundable

  • One calendar month before arrival: Loss of Deposit

  • Between one calendar month & 48 hours before arrival : Two thirds of the confirmed price of the holiday.

  • Guests departing before their specified departure dates will be responsible for the whole amount of the holiday.

  • Any revenue received from the re-letting of cancelled accomadation will be deducted from the cancellation fees.

  • No allowances can be made for meals not taken.

6. All accounts must be settled before departing from the hotel, unless a previous arrangement for the account to be sent has been agreed in writing, in which case full payment must be made within 7 days of presentation of the account. The hotel reserves the right to charge interest on late payments of outstanding accounts at a rate of 10% above the Base Rate.



General



  1. The Hotel is unable to guarantee that all of the facilities/services offered will be available for use during a guest's stay and is unable to make any refund or reduction in its charges if this should occur.

  2. The Hotel reserves the right to move guests to an alternative room, either within the hotel or to another comparable hotel.

  3. The Hotel will not be liable for typographical, clerical or other omissions in its sales literature.

  4. All guests must provide their own insurance for personnel belongings and clients will indemnify the hotel for any damage done by him/her guests.

  5. The Hotel will not be liable nor redeem to be in breach of the contract by the reason of failure to perform any of its obligations when the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control. Such causes would include flooding, fire, accident, power cuts, strikes etc.
